I’m sitting in an empty apartment. Aside from the steady drone of the A/C unit, the only sound is my fingers on the keys, adding words to the digital page.
A cup of white tea is brewing at my side. The steam rises delicately above the rim of the mug. Almost carelessly. It carries the aroma of the tea to my nostrils.

Though there is so much to think about today, there’s nothing to think about right now. Here in this moment.
I am content to soak in what is happening now. The gentle tapping of my fingers on the keys. The steam of the tea filling my senses with sweet warmth. The emptiness of this apartment. The beautiful shapes made by the words on my screen.
Don’t miss this moment.
